"The Chained Elephant" is a testament to my passion for visual storytelling and my ability to bring narratives to life through the art of illustration and digital editing. This project stands as a creative and artistic interpretation of Jorge Bucay's thought-provoking work.
I began by creating freehand drawings that captured the essence of the book's narrative. Each illustration was carefully conceptualized and sketched to convey the emotional depth of the story. Following the initial drawings, I leveraged Photoshop to refine and enhance the illustrations, ensuring they resonated with the intended emotions and storytelling. The 32-page portfolio case was carefully designed, ensuring that the illustrations flowed seamlessly, guiding viewers through the narrative visually.
SPANISH VERSION
For the spanish version I decided to use my handscript instead of some typography. I also added real ink strains and the outcome was something more original and artistic.
